Eve no Jikan | Time of Eve

10. Time of Eve
Time of Eve went a bit too much under the radar in the anime world. It was an incredible ONA with an extremely interesting plot. I don’t think it is really possible to just blatantly hate this series and with episodes at a length shorter than most I am surprised more people did not watch this.

Despite not thinking Cencoroll was the best thing out there, I still appreciate it for many reasons and the more I think about Cencoroll the more I seem to like it. The characters were all intriguing as was the story, if only it were longer…

8. K-ON!
People are way too harsh to K-ON! It sort of is like with Lucky Star, you either will hate the series or love it. I personally loved Lucky Star, but the similarity it shares with K-ON! is that it is a slice of life. The slice of life genre does not really have tons of appeal to everyone, but I personally love it and K-ON! was another series of that genre that I felt was very well done.

Spice and Wolf II

7. Spice and Wolf II
The first of several sequels on this list…In this sequel to Spice and Wolf it took a different turn from what we’ve seen in the first season, which only kept the series interesting. Obviously the whole marketing idea was a heavy plot line, but the relationship between Horo and Lawrence really played a bigger importance and for this reason, this season was very engaging and the character development was very well thought out and executed.

Summer Wars

In terms of the movies that were released in Japan this year, Summer Wars evidently makes top of the list. It was really just really awesome as it brought us into two completely separate worlds and instantly engaged us into both. Visually alone, the film was incredible and outside of that, it still managed to succeed for many reasons.

5. Darker than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini
Season two wasn’t all I wanted, but it did deliver something I didn’t expect and still managed to entertain me the whole way through. This was one of those series that I eagerly awaited every week for the new episode because I always wanted to see what would happen next. The ending wasn’t all that amazing, but nor was season one’s and that was before we knew it would have a second season and I still felt satisfied with how it ended in the long run, which is the same way I feel for the sequel.

Bakemonogatari

4. Bakemonogatari
Bakemonogatari is a series that seems essential to every top list of this year. I’ve been following the director’s (Shinbou, Akiyuki) work for a while now because I love most of his work and this series is no exception. This series brings everything you want to see in a series; awesome characters, great animation, good soundtrack, intriguing plotlines and more. Its sort of difficult not to love at least one aspect of this series.

Its been less than a week since I marathoned this whole anime and I really had to add it onto this list. I may just have not got a chance to absorb fully this series for everything it was with the afterthoughts and such, but at the moment all I can really see out of this series is how I really loved it. The adrenaline rush I got and the story was all so interesting and despite everyone telling me I would probably hate the second half or the ending, I didn’t because I loved it all. This was a great series.

This series was so close to making the number one spot! My only slightest problem I had with it was that I didn’t love the “Johnny Killer” arc, but really aside form that this was an incredible series. Almost every episode spelled out EPIC. It was an extremely compelling series that was nothing short from a joy to watch.

Between Eden of the East and this, I had some great difficulty choosing which was my favourite anime of the year, but as I took a good long while debating with myself the two, I came to a decision. Season two of Natsume Yuujinchou brought only every good thing that we saw in the first season. Each episode was amazing and to describe the series, the words beautiful, sentimental, and flipping awesome all come to mind. I connected with the characters on such an emotional level, I really hope this anime does not get lost among the new and the old and if you haven’t already watched this, start watching Natsume Yuujinchou now!

The one who born on December of 8th, 1994. Has anything that you don’t know, anything that you won’t believe, anything that make you might think that I’m such an unimportant person who tells about her lifes, but anything you guys would say or think about me after you read it, I don’t really care about it, except it turning me into a better person than I ever had. History of Life

My past is not sad, not crazy or even hurt, like any other people that have a really interesting past to tell. Everything is going great and seems really fun when I was a little (even though I dont remember any of that), you can say that my family from my mother is a rich family back then, but what is a rich family means if Im still being a little baby and carried by people everywhere I go? I cant even enjoy any of that richness, I cant even remember how it feels when I was a little child!

I have a big sister, she’s 1 year older than me, so maybe that is why me and my sister NOT-SO-LOOK-ALIKE. Time bypass, and I step to my very first birthday and my sister’s 2nd Birthday, When having my first Birthday party, Im not living at my mother’s family house anymore, my family starts to have our own house to live in, even it’s not so big, just a small ordinary house. Im starting to have a few of friends and knowing some people, and as time passing by again, My parents took me and my sister to kindergarden.

My mom cant accompany us to go to kindergarden everyday, maybe she had any other stuff to do, so she decide to have a baby-sitter to taking care of me and my sister. Our first baby-sitter is really annoying, all she things maybe just dating, dating and dating! She ignore us (Me and my sister), there’s a moment when we got home after school and she is mad at us, locking us on our own house and then going somewhere with her friends! Me and my sister can only crying and begging for someone to open that f*cking door! And Thank God that my mom got home before she does, we tell everything that my baby-sitter does to me and my sister, and when my baby-sitter got home, mom just go on straight and then FIRED her! Such a big relieve for both of us.

Growing | Teenager Years

I have a few close friends that has being my friends since my first Birthday party, there’s Marissa (Icha) and Mahatir, they’re both are brother and sister. Well, they’re a rich family in my eyes and my sister’s eyes. Even though they’re rich, they never make any difference between our friend-relationship, that’s why the four of us never arguing to each other.

Mahatir is the big brother, he is 2 years older than me and 1 years older than my sister. His true fact is having some desease, something wrong with his breath, so whenever he got too tired, his breath is getting faster and harder than usual, even though he’s sick but he’s never act like a sick people who stays at home, being feeded or stuff, His conditions are really not good but he is still doing things like other kids, his favourite sport is Basketball (at least that’s what I remember about him). His little sister is Marissa or usualy called Icha, she’s such a cute girl and in the same year with me, well… all I remember about her is just her look and face and also her way of talking, but she’s always playing with us.

The four of us just like dont have any other friend than us. Our parents dont allowed us to play too far from our house, so we never know what happen on the other block of our resident except our own block. But even though we’re not allowed to do that, as time passing by, four of us are growing up together. Im turning to 11 years old, my sister is 12 years old, Icha is same as me which is 11 years old and Mahatir 13 years old. We’re all already get into Junior High School. Who knows what’s gonna happen on that year for us? Are we gonna still like this (just the four of us), or is there other people gonna get into our friend-list?

The fact is, we got a lot of new friends, me and my sister go on some party at TMII (Taman Mini Indonesi Indah). We meet 1 brother and sister, Dina and Rudolf (Udo), because we’re so boring on that party, we found a few kids that look like us and then we ask Dina and Udo to come and playing some games with us. Dina is the big sister, she’s in the same year with me and Rudolf is a few years younger than me (cant remember), well who knows when we going home, our direction is the same and they’re house just 3 blocks from our block, starting that day, we’re being friends. Not just both of them, we also meet a new neighbour in the same block with me, Dea, Icha and Mahatir. This time, her name is Gita and she’s a few years older than the four of us, she also has a little sister called Icha too but this one is really younger than us. After that, our friends is keep increasing.

At school, we got lots of new friends too, perhaps the dangerous, mean, kind, and absolutely different from what I ever thought.
